Spotted on Main

| Top | Bag | Heels | Bracelet (love this one too!)

Date night on Main Street Woodstock is always a good time (after you find parking that is).  I always gravitate towards spots/dots and this top from the Kate Spade Outlet was no exception. I paired it with a pair of black scalloped shorts then wore these edgy heels to make a statement. I'm not gonna lie.. I changed into sandals to walk around after dinner. My feet have a pretty small window when it comes to these bad boys.

Engagement Outfit Details

proposal outfit, pink skirt, fashion, clare v clutch,

Top (BOGO 50%) / Skirt: Fiore Boutique Kennesaw / Shoes (marked down to $39!) / Clutch / Necklace via Rocksbox / Bracelet via Rocksbox / Earrings: color sold out but you can get on the waitlist!

Hiiiiiii, I'm back! Thelast month has been an absolute dream, and after a much needed break I'm trying to get back into my school and blog routine. Last week was the first week back in school, and I was so not ready for that jelly. The post-vacation depression is slowly wearing off, but the extra fluff from it is definitely still here, bye Felicia.

You have probably heard the big news, but if not read this post first to get a little more in the loop with this post. This "blog shoot" was just before he popped the question, so that's probably why there's not too much to show you... the boy had other things on his mind besides getting the outfit shots. Can you spy our undercover camera man in the photographs above?? Hint, he's taller than 3.5ft

Now for the outfit details. This tank is a must have in your wardrobe. It's something you can wear year round layered under blazers or solo in the summer like above. It comes in a lot of colors, and you even get two-for-one because they're reversible. I've worn this skirt from Fiore Boutique before (see the look here), and it's been a piece in my wardrobe that makes me feel most like myself. It's pink, girly, and comfortable... check, check, check in my book! Now lets talk about the shoes. They're so comfortable, and not in the "oh they're comfortable for heels" kinda comfortable, but are actually shoes you can wear all day. OH, and they're marked down from $120 to $39! They sometimes switch between gray and more of a taupe, so I think they're very versatile.

For my accessories, these fun earrings were a purchase just before Arizona because I needed some turquoise in my life. Is it considered a neutral yet?! My little necklace was purchased from Rocksbox, because I can never pass on discounted Kendra Scott when I receive them in my box every month... oops! Use code strawberrychicxoxo to get your first month free as a test drive. Free jewelry people, that's a no brainer!

As a little side note, I've updated all my sidebars and shop page so be sure to check them out before they change for fall! Also, you can now shop all my Instagrams here

Now to make my coffee a double and get to school. Happy Monday!

Leopard & Palm with Carolina Clover

Shorts / Top: old Jessica Simpson (this would be so cute!) / Necklace c/o / Clutch / Shoes

I'm pretty confident when I say these are the most flattering shorts I've ever owned. The material or so forgiving and stretchy, and the high-waist hugs you in all the right places. Stop reading now and order them because they're currently on sale for $15 AND they always have a promotion to top it off.

Now that that's settled, I wore this on date night a while back and we were more focused on getting out of the heat and food that the photo quality is lacking as a result. I wanted to still share what I could because it has been one of my favorite looks lately - I've worn it on two different occasions so I also added in the first time as seen on Instagram. This monogram necklace from Carolina Clover has been my go-to...it goes with everything! Adding in my favorite clutch to pattern mix with the palm print was a no brainer, we all know leopard is a neutral.

American Apparel

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend. Mine was super busy as always when I go to Atlanta, but it seemed surprisingly long. I went straight from class in Savannah on Thursday to a haircut appointment in Atlanta.. then shot these photos before heading up to Blairsville to camp with Tim and the family for a night. Luckily we weren't in a tent or I would have been sleeping in the car... it stormed SO bad throughout the night and rained until we left on Friday. Saturday I rested up from all the driving and we kept it casual grilling hamburgers. Yesterday, I packed up and headed back to Savannah to finish out the summer semester (3 more weeks!). I got back just in time to beat more storms heading in.. the power went out for about an hour but luckily came back on in time for the USA World Cup Finale. Such a perfect ending to the holiday weekend!

During the express sale I found this top and loved it so much I ordered it in black as well. Both are colors I rarely wear, so getting them in this peplum/ruffle style was keeping it in my comfort zone...I'll buy anything with a ruffle detail! These shorts have been a go to for class because they're so soft and comfortable, but they do stretch out after wearing them so I would order a size down. I found this hat for $12 at the Loft outlet and thought it would be perfect to protect my face and shoulders at the pool this summer. It keeps it's structure unlike some floppy hat's I've tried on the past. Last but not least, these shoes are making another blog appearance (previously styled here). They're so comfortable and will go with everything in your summer wardrobe! If you're new to Just Fab, you'll get your first pair for just $9.99!

Both necklaces are from Rocksbox, use code strawberrychicxoxo to try out your first month for free! I usually always keep the Kendra Scott piece they include in my box. I can't resist using my monthly shine spend (you get $10/month) and 20% discount towards them! Oops.

Citron Pop

Bria Cross Body - Also spotted over the weekend in Francescas
** (Use code INSTA20 for 20% off your purchase) **
 Top: Loft Factory (almost exact, similar) / Jeans / Shoes /
Necklace / Kendra Scott Bracelet via Rocksbox (code strawberrychicxoxo for your first month free)

 If you've been following along on Instagram then you've seen this cross body bag from Violet Ray in almost every #ootd post during June, it's that versatile! During summer my philosophy is the more color the better, and this bag definitely fits the bill. My go-to combination right now is this bright citron with turquoise. I would love to pair this bag with these beauties! It also comes in coral and black if that's more your thing. To take it from day to night I knotted the gold chain into a bow for some extra MMPH! (see the look on Instagram here).

Mint Condition

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There's just something about getting dressed up on Sunday morning for church and brunch. I look forward to it every week! I'm still trying to find a church I love in Atlanta as much as I do down here in Savannah (I go to Community Bible Church if you're looking for one around here!). I've tried at least 5 different churches in North GA, but still nothing has compared to the experience I get at CBC's intimate but growing services. If you have any recommendations for me in North GA please share!
 I've had this skirt in my closet for at least a year before I finally wore it. Don't ask me why because I really don't know... it's my favorite color! Since the skirt is old, I linked similar options above... but I also found an exact one BNWT on Postmark (link!) so if you want it snatch it up! I decided to pair it with matching neutrals from head to toe. These pumps were a steal at forever21 a few months back, but I've linked some other options above. When shopping for a nude heel it's important to not settle until you find the perfect color for your skin tone.
It's almost the weekend! Have anything fun planned??
Twirl
  Top (last seen here) ~ Skirt ~ Shoes (Elene) ~ Clutch ~ Lipstick (syrup) ~ Bracelet ~ Watch ~ Necklace
I've delayed posting this look because it deserves a much prettier background. I figured I could just re-shoot it, but I just kept shooting new looks instead.. oops! Blogger lesson learned not to shoot at Phipps Plaza again. I've been wearing this tank on a weekly basis (last seen here). It's the perfect crisp white tank top that goes with everything. It's sad, but you want to know my favorite part about it? It's reversible, so I know if I ever mess up one side with food or makeup I can just reverse it! Wow now that the secret is out... I found this skirt on the sale rack at J. Crew and couldn't get over the price. Luckily they still have a version of it in store, because the drop waist and pleats are so flattering on, it's definitely worth the full price. Tim had to tell me to stop twirling in it...
Classic Stripes
 Dress: Illa Illa Stripe Dress (from here) / Shoes (on sale) / Bag / Bracelet / Watch / Hat / Lips
Nothing beats a classic stripe and red lip combo, except when it's topped with the perfect bow fedora! This dress is the most comfortable thing I've worn all year, so sorry if you see if over and over this year. I can already picture it in the fall with an olive green vest over it, but lets get through summer first. Finding classic pieces that can be worn year round are the best bang for your buck...you know you'll always reach for it when it feels good on. Shop a similar look in the widget below.
