Fall Basics

 My go-to look for fall is a basic flowy top paired with a scarf and booties. It's something you should have multiples of in your closet for when you claim to have nothing to wear! The newest trend has been a scarf of steroids- the blanket scarf. They're so warm and cozy they instantly give your outfit a little more oomph. It's a piece I'll continue to wear every fall season.. even if it still smells like the Mexican restaurant I ate at after these pictures :(

It's officially half way through my clinical rotation and I'm starting the countdown until Christmas break (my last one, AH!). I'm still adjusting to adult life that over the weekend I barely left the house.  I'm normally all about Halloween, but this year I didn't want to stress about it.  It's Friday night and I'm still shopping through the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.. obsessed would be an understatement. I'm so anxious for leggings, booties, and fur vests... but I have a few beach trips and vacations I'm looking forward to first! Side note- I only have a week left of school, then I can finally enjoy a little summer break :) 

Now that the sale is open to everyone, I thought it would be helpful to share my favorites because the most popular items are already selling out! I think everyone needs to stock up on these tunics, because they're long enough to wear with leggings and the perfect under layer to any vest or coat you add. I usually don't gravitate towards black in my wardrobe, so I'm a big fan of all the gray pieces, especially this bag (heart emoji x 3)!  A good fur vest (the kind that won't shed on everything you own) will usually cost a good chunk of change, so here's your chance to snag a quality one on sale.
